Chris Dodd knowen to many as Doddy sadly passed away on 7/03/09, in a tragic acident that has took
him from us far too soon.
Chris was knowen by many localy and will always be remembered for his cheeky grin, infectious laugh,
and pranks that he would play on people. Doddy has left us all with many happy memories of him, and
his memory will live on :)
They say that only the good die young
but that should not be said
theres lots of bad people out there
that should have gone instead

Glad that you had teh send off you deserved 2day, all them people there just for you bet you was loving it up there seeing how many people turned out just 4 u. Still cant belive it,
hope ur aving fun up there say hi 2 Turner for me like you he was taken far to soon. He is a prankster 2 always having a laugh so you pair will get on great guns lol.

Alan,Pauline,Carl and the rest of Chris's family would like to thank EVERYONE who came to give Chris such a good send-off today.The whole family felt so proud and take great comfort in knowing how many people loved and cared for him.

Happy Birthday Darling, I wish you was here for us all to spend it with you.
Well its been nearly two weeks now babe and it still hasnt sunk in that you have gone. You will never, ever be forgotten darling, and i can promise you that, your cheeky smile, your lovely face and your laugh will stay with us all forever. I don't think you realised how much you was loved by us all down here. Seeing you on a friday night would make our night, just hearing that laugh. You were the one person i never saw upset and that everyone come to when they needed cheerin up! All the memories are still in my head, of us all up chase terrace park sunbathing in the summer, and you singing all the single ladies to us. And we can't forget Duffy, Mercy can we, the times you used to ask Daffy to sing that! Whats daffy gonna do without you ay! And how about that "cheese and onion sausage", me and geo will have that waiting for you darling! I hope that place is good enough for you up there and is looking after you.

I keep thinking of the 'Doddy lad' days when you and Carl thrashed me on the mega drive and we had so many laughs.
Also the lovely days we had at the various theme parks , with you, Carl, jude and me.
Thank you Chrissy for giving us such lovely memories to treasure.We will think of you EVERY day for the rest of our lives.
Tonight we will drink a beer or two in a toast for you on your birthday.

We had some right good times together didn't we babe,
I remeber up Darrels when you was on the skateboard in his kitchen thinkin u could do tricks and you kept falling off and we was all laughing at you because you would start laughing with your laugh that everyone loved and everybody used to join in with you.
I can still hear that in my head now you laughing at absolutely anything, and it does make me smile.
Remember when you used to role your jeans up in the summer and get a tan on your legs playing football.
Down redwood when me and lydia used to come and meet you...and there you would be sitting on the bench we could hear your laugh from the top of Redwood hill and you would be singing sinlge ladies at the top of your voice..when your phone goes off and you start having a little dance haha.
And whats daffy gonna do with out you ayy..u were like a big bro to him. Me n lyd will look after him for you and we know you'll be watching down over us all.
Anyway babe.. could go on forever talking about all the good times we had.

I'm sure Burntwood will come to a standstill on that day. Most of us will be there to pay our respects and whisper our own private last goodbyes to a young man that has obviously touched so many peoples lives. A sad day, but uplifting to know just how much he was loved by all that had the pleasure of being part of his world x
